A new HBO documentary titled ‘The Final Battle’ will be premiering on the cable channel on March 10, 2019.
The documentary follows the Battle of Endor, which saw the death of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and the fall of the Galactic Empire.
The film, which was directed by the late Spike Lee, was released in theaters in 2013.

The HBO documentary will be the latest in a long line of HBO series to feature the Battle Of The Last Guardian, which is the last of the Jedi-led Jedi Order before the rise of the Empire.
Lee is also a prolific filmmaker who made documentaries for PBS and Fox News.
He also produced the critically acclaimed documentary ‘I Am the Walrus,’ which was released earlier this year.

The movie, which tells the story of the Battle at Endor and the eventual fall of Galactic Empire, will be followed by a two-hour episode of ‘The Return of the Master,’ which will explore the role of Luke Skywalker, the Skywalker clan, and the First Order in the film.
The final episode of the ‘Battle’ of Endur will be aired on March 17.
The production is based on a screenplay by Spike and John Knoll and will be produced by HBO.
‘An Open Letter to Luke Skywalker’ will premiere on HBO on April 8.
The four-part documentary follows Luke Skywalker’s rise from humble beginnings to becoming an infamous figurehead of the Rebel Alliance, with a series of pivotal events culminating in the Battle for Endor.
The project was originally planned for HBO but was cancelled due to the show’s financial situation.
